Here are some programs that are popular among the fitness fans and those who want to lose weight.

Dr. Ornish’s program suggests about the primarily vegetarian fare and strictly low-fat. The diet program emphasises that to restrict on healthy foods consumption like seafood and lean poultry. Also you should give the go signal on the "glow" foods but warns to watch it on non-fat dairy and egg whites.

Dr. Heller suggest about Carbohydrate Addict's Diet. He suggests the program that promotes low carbohydrate eating. He indicates that eating meats, vegetables and fruits, dairy and grain products help to lose weight. The program suggests not taking in carbohydrate too much. The meal with too excessive carb can be too high on fats and saturated fats.

Atkins' New Diet Revolution by Dr. Atkins is a program you can follow. This weight loss program encourages high protein diet and a trim down on the carbs. One can feast on vegetables and meat but should fast on bread and pasta. One is also not restricted against fat intake so it is okay to pour in the salad dressing and freely spread on the butter. However, after the diet, one may find himself lacking on fiber and calcium yet high in fat. Intake of grains and fruits are also limited.

Another program that you can follow easily is the program created by Dr. Goor who recommends the low-fat dairy, seafood, poultry and meat.  The fat should be restrained but he does not restrict on watching the daily carbohydrate in meal. Bread and pasta are recommended as well as vegetable and fruits. This weight loss program promotes enormous intake of fruits and vegetables as well as saturated fats. Still, it is advised to watch triglyceride levels; so you should lower  the carbohydrates if it in high level.

One of an interesting program is volumetric. This program provides the high amounts of fruits and vegetables and reduces the fat and carbohydrate intake. For low-density calorie eating, this program also recommend snack like cracker or popcorn too but in the low level. 

The program that is newly created is food intake according to the zone. The program encourages people to take less carbohydrate and more proteins. It promotes less-fat protein meal like fish and chicken and vegetable, fruits and grains.

The DASH Diet is also an interesting program. Advocates moderate amounts of fat and protein intake and high on carbs. Some dieters think it advocates too much eating to procure significant weight loss.

The blood type eating is one of the popular programs of diet. Experts on this field suggest people to take any food according to their blood type group. The nutrition prepared in the program is believed to develop people’s health. However, there is not any scientific evidence that this diet program helps loose weight.

The Pritkin Program is a program for those who want more choice. This program suggests that watery foods make people full. Although it is healthy by providing low amounts of saturated fats and rich amounts of vegetables and fruits, it is also low on calcium and limits lean protein sources. Taking vegetables, fruits, oatmeal, pasta, soups, salads and low-fat dairy is okay. Although limits protein sources to lean meat, seafood and poultry are recommended as well.

The programs mentioned above are available too in the leading fitness center in the state. So don’t waste your money to get in to the fitness center as you can choose the program you want and follow it at your home.
