  1. Eat chili as much as you can. Put chilies in your meal as your daily main dish. It accelerates metabolism experts say.
  2. Hot water is better than cold water. It again burn your calories and increase metabolism.
  3. The sauce can be changed to be low fat yogurt or olive oil instead of cream sauce with high fat.   
  4. While eating, just chew your meal slowly in a subtle way as it help you full early. 
  5. Drink a lemon juice with warm water in morning help your metabolism works faster. It is also good to your skin.
  6. Green vegetables like capsicum and zucchini contains vitamin and fiber that is good for imbalance your body.
  7. Do not fast or skip meals as the metabolism will be slow down to keep calories for the time you need more energy.
  8. Take in three meals daily and do not skip meals  as you will eat up bigger amount of food in each meal.
  9. Do not sleep late as you will be hunger all the time on the day.
  10. Cook by yourself so you will know how much calories you take it in. And you can design how healthy recipes you want to get in your body.
  11. Keep in mind that you sugar, too much carbs, fat, and salt can make you gain weight so either eat them less or eat low fat ones.
  12. Eight hours after waking up, our metabolism slows down that is why 30 minutes of exercise before dinner will increase the metabolism for about two to three hours.  This produces an increase in burned fat even hours after the work out is over.
  13. Look for a friend who desire to loose weight like you. She can support you and  inspire you to stay and enjoy your weight loss program.
  14. Eat before you go food shopping and always prepare a shopping list. Only buy food which relates to your weekly menu plan and don't be tempted to buy goodies.
  15. Add alfalfa or mungbeans to salad to get extra iron.
  16. Though it's hard at first, try not eating 3 hours or more before bedtime.
  17. As much as possible do not remove the skins of fruits and vegetables since most of the nutrients are concentrated under the skin.
  18. One of the best sources of vegetable protein is from Soya beans or tofu. All legumes provide some protein, so include lentils, Lima beans etc into casseroles and soups.
  19. Use chicken stock when stir-frying.  This will cut down on hidden fat.
  20. Substitute baking soda, baking powder, MSG and soya sauce in cooking.
  21. Remove fat by dropping ice cubes into the baking tray. Fat will stick to the ice cubes.
  22. Take pita bread roll ups or wraps with salad fillings.
  23. Buy non-toasted muesli instead of the toasted ones.  A plate of toasted muesli contains more fat than a plate of bacon and eggs.
  24. Try making omelettes without adding the yolks! A dramatic decrease in fat will show you.
  25. Make pasta a fast food choice - preparing a pasta meal or salad will only take 10-12 minutes.
  26. Consult the doctor before beginning an exercise or weight loss program.

 

Keep in mind that the correct discipline is still practiced to encourage consistency on the diet program.  This will lead eventually to a healthy life-style and a more fruitful living without the extra fat and extra pounds on the side.
